We offer exciting worship, practical Biblical teaching, and potential life-change! But mostly we offer a place where you can feel at home and know you belong!

Our desire is to be relevant in a world that is often confusing and overwhelming. We desire to love the loveless, touch the untouchable and to inspire the uninspired. Many in our community have had negative church experiences in the past, and we are deeply sorry for the hurts any church has inflicted. We desire to be different.

At SCC, you can expect a place that gives you the opportunity to love God more, love others more, and love life more! You can expect to be yourself. We're not here to fit you into a stereotype, rather, we're here to help you in your lifes purpose! We're here to discover together what walking with Jesus looks like! No matter where you are on the journey of following Jesus, doubter and skeptic to worshipper and follower we hope you will find a place to connect at SCC. While a part of SCC, you can expect love, truth, grace, and freedom.At Springfield Community Church, you will meet people that want to become genuine friends to you and your family. You can come as you are, dress as you like, and feel free to be yourself. You will experience great music and meaningful, scriptural messages that are relevant to our life today. You will immediately notice that this is a place where children are important. We accept joyfully our task to teach Biblical truths to children that will give them a healthy moral foundation throughout their lives.

Services

Legacy Service: 9-10:15 am

If you enjoy a more structured worship format, the Legacy service features a more traditional format with a blended style of music. This service includes praise and worship, a time of greeting, corporate prayer together and special music. Then the pastor will give a biblically based message, there will be a time of response, and you will be dismissed. Both the Legacy service and Kaleo begin with 30 minutes of fellowship, prior to the service starting. Coffee and donuts are available during this time.Nursery is available for children up to 3 years old during both services.

Kaleo Service: 11-12:15 pm

If you are looking for a church, we would love to have you at Kaleo at Springfield Community (SCC). We hope you enjoy the experience. Our goal is for you to connect with God and with others!Worship: In our Kaleo service, we are about engaging in worship, not observing. As we sing together, pray together, & share scripture together, there are stations available for additional expressions of worship.Teaching: Our messages are biblically based and seek to communicate God's truth inempowering, relevant ways.Prayer: This is at the heart of everything we do at SCC. Weekly gatherings for prayer and praise along with extended prayer vigils give opportunities for the church body to join together in seeking the heart of God.

Youth 3 Weekly Gatherings, 3 Distinct Purposes5:30-7ish pm SundayFusionA time to combine the elements of fun and relationship featured during The Edge with God's scripture and truth that will take place during Core. After hanging out for a bit and playing games, we will move into a time of music and worship, then transition into a relevant and applicable lesson based on God's Word.5-6 pm WednesdayCoreA time for our most connected students to grow deeper in their faith through Bible study and discipleship. We will break into small groups and share, pray, and discuss with one another as we journey together. The focus will be on exploring books of the Bible and discovering what it truly means to be a follower of Christ.6-8ish pm WednesdayThe EdgeA time for students to hang out in a comfortable, causal environment and have fun playing games and getting to know one another. We encourage new students to come check this out first, because our primary focus during this time is on relational ministry and being able to connect and build relationships.
